About

Diane Perez is an assistant academic specialist in the Foundation Year program. Ms. Perez shares responsibility for developing and implementing the “College Experience” course and guides students through all aspects of the transfer process. She assists with the development of course content and materials and coordinates programs and projects to support students throughout the program. In her role as an academic advisor, she works with a cohort of students to help them navigate the college experience, build study skills, and develop successful habits. Previously, Ms. Perez was a basic needs counselor at Catholic Charities, providing case-management services to clients in a homeless-prevention program and conducting financial literacy training. She has also, as part of a graduate practicum, helped students at North Shore Community College with academic planning. Ms. Perez is currently studying for her EdD at Northeastern.
