Dr. Bergeron is currently a lecturer in the Graduate School of Education at Northeastern University and serves as Director of Research for New Tech Network.  Prior to joining New Tech Network in June 2016 as the Director of Research, Liz held positions in K-12 and higher education.  Liz was an education professor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Global Research Manager for the International Baccalaureate Organization, and a middle school math/science teacher.  She completed her PhD in 2011 at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, with an emphasis on science education and research methods. Liz completed her undergraduate degree and teacher licensure program with a focus on middle grades mathematics and science education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

Her research expertise includes conducting a broad range of projects utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the impact of educational interventions. Dr. Bergeron's teaching experiences include K-12 math and science and graduate and undergraduate courses in education theory, curriculum and instruction, research methods, and assessment.
