About

Dr. Yorra graduated from the Pharmacy Program at Northeastern University in 1978, worked in practice for full time for 14 years, and has worked at Northeastern University since 1992 managing the Pharmacy Cooperative Education Program.  Dr. Yorra is an officer in the Massachusetts Pharmacy Association Foundation, Massachusetts Independent Pharmacy Association and Boston Druggist's Association, as well as a member of the Massachusetts Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, the American Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.  Dr. Yorra has presented many posters on Experiential Education and the Pharmacy Cooperative Education Program at national meetings, as well as published an article in the American Journal of Pharmacy Education and Current Trends in Pharmacy Education.  In addition to the experiential component, Dr. Yorra has taught Pharmacy Practice skills for many years with a focus on sterile products.  Dr. Yorra also teaches a Health Management course in the College of Professional studies.  In addition to professional accomplishments, Dr. Yorra is a proud dad of four children who received their degrees from Northeastern University and are very successful today.
